A downloadable game for Windows

Influenced heavily by Zelda 1, The Legend of Chronos mixes classic adventure with the roguelike formula. Delve through one level of a dungeon, collect items, fight enemies, and vanquish the evil within. If you die, Chronos, the “Sword of Time”, will bring you back in time to fight again.

This is a proof of concept that mixes Zelda 1 style dungeons and roguelike perma-death. More work may continue on the project in the future.

Install instructions

Windows only. Unzip folder and run EXE to play game. Requires DirectX End-User Runtime to work. Many DirectX 9 games use this, but you can find the download on the Microsoft website here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35
